Rabindranath Tagore Literary Prize and TagorePrize for Social Achievement 2021. and 2022. merger Announced
After careful consideration and much reluctance we have made the decision to cancel the Rabindranath Tagore Literary Prize 2021 as a single annual event, and to merge it together with Rabindranath Tagore Literary Prize 2022.
This is a decision we have not taken lightly, and we emphasize that we did everything in our power to prevent it, however, the pandemic hadn’t spared anybody. The disruption affected not only the publishing and book industry whose participation in the nominations was thus, enormously and regrettably curbed, but also our own organization, our staff and our judging board.
We feel a vast responsibility toward our nominees and TagorePrize community, and by merging Rabindranath Tagore Literary Prize 2021 with 2022 we are reinforcing our commitment to our primary purpose, to maintain our artistic and literary standards high and uncompromised at any cost.
Every year we look forward to hosting Rabindranath Tagore Literary Prize awarding ceremony and to sharing our ideas and aims with TagorePrize community.
Over the course of the coming months and with due regard to Covid19 health and safety regulations, we will explore the possibilities of hosting our annual ceremony in – person in New Delhi in October 2022.
Thank you for your patience, support and understanding. We will stay connected through our platform updates @tagoreprize.
TagorePrize had been founded and launched with a strong vision to be a platform and a vehicle for improving and inspiring World Peace, Literature, Art and Education. We are promoting the culture and beauty of literature just as Rabindranath Tagore had taught us to, but also, the culture and society of tolerance, harmony and non – discrimination.
Rabindranath Tagore Literary Prize 2021 and 2022 is open for submissions. The deadline is September 1st, 2022.

The Hans Christian Andersen Award is sometimes referred to as “the Little Nobel.” The award has earned this appellation since, in a similar manner to the Nobel Prize in Literature, it recognizes the lifetime achievement of writers, though the Andersen Award focuses on a single category of literary works ( children’s literature ).
FRAGRANCE FLOWS
I am Thou fragrance , O! Lord
Preserve me for a precious cause
Pluck the roots with wholeness
To sprinkle the showers of fragrant hopes
Lest the time is over, grasp and grab my lot
I am that island of cores with Thy treasures
Thy immortal flames groom inside my oasis
Lift this fragrance to wreathe a necklace
That shall flow in human _ river with grace
No more awaiting now ,O!Lord
Lift me with Thy hand and let the garden bloom.

Im very pleased you are doing this. Too many good contemporary poets have gone unsung unsold into the great void. Edification of poets and the promotion of poetry in the common community is essential for our survival as a gentler, kinder species on earth. This effort needs to be supportedin every way posdible. I am delighted that your first tecepient is my good friend Vinita Agrawal. Good wishes.

It’s one of the best platforms to stand up for the authors. Let this uncommon trend continue forever as the field of world literature will favour to common man.
Actually, I have submitted my story to Tagore Prize. But there’s no reply.
Informative article,
Sir,
I appreciate the merging of the RTLP 2021 and 2022 keeping in view the horrific pandemic situation. Last year I had submitted two of my collections, “The Speaking Stone” and “The Rhyming Rainbow”. Is it necessary for me to submit the same again this year or you will consider my earlier submissions intact?
Warm Regards
Pravat
